Licking County: Soda can allegedly thrown at motorist
The Pataskala Division of Police is looking for a person, likely driving a red, four-door Dodge pickup truck, who allegedly hurled a full soda can at an oncoming vehicle at 4: 50 p.m. Aug. 18 on Mink Street near Cable Road.
Pataskala Police were notified that the Licking County Sheriff's Office took a similar report Aug. 18 in which the victim's windshield was broken by an object thrown from another vehicle, according to the police report.
The suspect's vehicle has white stickers on it and possibly a Mossy Oak sticker in the rear window, the report said.
In other recent incident reports from the Pataskala Division of Police:
* Police arrested a 57-year-old man for stealing 65 gallons of gasoline, a funnel, three hoses and a head-mounted light, no value given, from a business in the 6000 block of Taylor Road at 1:23 a.m. Aug. 16.
* Police are investigating the theft of two computers from different locations in the city.
A computer, computer bag and keys valued at $475 were rreported taken between 10:15 p.m. Aug. 15 and 1:30 p.m. Aug. 18 from a residence in the 4000 block of Headleys Mill Road.
A computer with no value given was reported stolen between 1 p.m. Aug. 13 and 3 a.m. Aug. 14 from the 100 block of Coronado Drive.
