Licking County: Officers make four drug-related arrests in three days

The Pataskala Division of Police continues to battle drug-related crimes, recently making four arrests in a three-day span.

Officers arrested two men Aug. 25.

A 17-year-old boy was found with a metal pipe with burned residue inside it at 9:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Coronado Drive and a 24-year-old man was found with a small plastic bag of a green substance and a metal grinder at 11 p.m. in the 300 block of High Street, according to police reports.

The 17-year-old was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and the 24-year-old was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of drugs.

The other two people were arrested on different days.

Police arrested a 28-year-old man for drug abuse at 10 p.m. Aug. 24 at Thomas J. Evans Foundation Park, 10255 McIntosh Road.

He was found with a bag of a green leafy substance, according to the police report.

Police arrested at 20-year-old woman for drug abuse at 12:19 a.m. Aug. 23 on Puff Drive south of Applewood Drive.

She was found with a bag of a green leafy substance and a glass bowl, according to the police report.

In other recent incident reports from the Pataskala Division of Police:

* Police arrested five people in conjunction with the theft of two inoperative commercial air-conditioning units valued at $300 at 1:11 p.m. Aug. 23 from a parking lot in the 14000 block of East Broad Street.

Police arrested four men, ages 18, 19, 42 and 45, and a 42-year-old woman. All were charged with theft.

The crime occurred between 10 p.m. Aug. 22 and 1:11 p.m. Aug. 23.

* Police are investigating the theft of a car trailer valued at $2,500 from a business in the 400 block of Broad Street.
