Two shotguns reported stolen in theft from home

Pataskala police are investigating a burglary that occurred between 6:40 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. Sept. 19 in the 200 block of Poplar Street.

The home was entered by force and two shotguns were reported missing, according to police reports.

In other recent incident reports from the Pataskala Division of Police:

* Police are investigating an alleged assault of a 14-year-old boy that occurred between 6 a. m. Sept 18 and 4:30 p.m. Sept. 20 at Central Middle School, 6565 Summit Road.

* Police arrested a 55-year-old woman for drug abuse, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under OVI suspension and driving under suspension at 3:10 p.m. Sept. 20 on Oxford Drive at Broad Street.

She was found with a bag of marijuana and a pipe, police reports said.

* Police arrested an 18-year-old man for possession of drug paraphernalia at 1:13 a.m. Sept. 23 on Broad Street west of Taylor Road.

He was found with a clear tube with residue in it.

* Police are investigating the theft of $3,950 worth of jewelry that was taken between 7 a.m. July 28 and 11:30 a.m. Sept. 23 from a home in the 300 block of Virginia Court.
