The Pataskala Division of Police is investigating two recent reports of stolen vehicles.

A Hyundai Tiburon, with several prescription drugs in it, was stolen between 2:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Nov. 23 from a parking lot in the 100 block of Poff Drive, according to reports.

In addition, a Chrysler Pacifica was stolen between 12:01 a.m. Oct. 30 and 9:45 a.m. Nov. 15 from a business in the 300 block of West Broad Street.

Police Chief Bruce Brooks said the department rarely receives reports of stolen vehicles.

"We don't have a lot of them, maybe one a year," he said. "It usually is associated with a break-in, and the person sees the keys and takes the vehicle."

In other recent incident reports from the Pataskala Division of Police:

* Officers are investigating the theft of a knife and tools valued at $2,400 taken between midnight and 4 p.m. Nov. 21 from a home in the 300 block of Robert Drive.
