Pataskala: Vandalism reported at local park, home

The Pataskala Division of Police is investigating cases of criminal damaging and criminal mischief that occurred at the Thomas J. Evans Foundation Park and a private residence.

Police were called to Foundation Park, 10255 Macintosh Road SW, March 26 by a neighbor who was concerned about alleged vandals in the park between 6:48 and 7:48 p.m.

When police arrived, they found broken glass in the park but there were no people in the vicinity, the police report said.

Police also are investigating damage to a car and a house in the 300 block of Bristol Road, Reynoldsburg, that occurred between 11:59 a.m. March 22 and 8 a.m. March 23.

Words were spray painted on the car and random items in the house were vandalized, the police report said.

The incident was reported March 23, the police report said.

In other recent incident reports from the Pataskala Division of Police:

* Police cited a 24-year-old woman for child endangering after she left a 1-year-old, a 2-year-old and a 3-year-old alone from 2 to 2:25 p.m. March 19 at a residence in the 100 block of Poff Drive.

The incident was reported by a neighbor, the police report said.

* Police are investigating the theft of a refrigerator valued at $1,000 that was taken between 12:01 a.m. March 3 and 11:59 p.m. March 24 from a home in the 400 block of Township Road.

The incident was reported March 24, the police report said.
