The Pataskala Division of Police cited a 17-year-old boy for criminal damaging that occurred at 7:30 a.m. April 10 in Thomas J. Evans Foundation Park, 10255 Macintosh Road SW.
The boy was caught driving through a grassy area of the park, the police report said.
A similar incident occurred at 8:55 p.m. April 1 and involved two 17-year-olds riding four-wheeled vehicles on a path in Pataskala Municipal Park, at the intersection of Mill Street, Township Road and Creek Road.
"We expect as the weather warms that park-related incidents will be on the rise," said police Capt. Michael Boals.
