Sheriff's office seeks information on woman's abductor

The Licking County Sheriff’s Office is asking people to help find a white man who allegedly abducted a 35-year-old woman at Trillium Farms in Croton at 4 a.m. April 25.

The man is being described 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighing 170 pounds, with strawberry-blond buzz-cut hair and a scraggly goatee.

He was wearing a black hoodie, black pants and shoes and has letters tattooed on the knuckles of his right hand, according to information from the sheriff's office.

The man reportedly was hiding in the back seat of the woman’s vehicle when she left work. She did not see him until she already was driving, according to the press release.

The woman said she was asked to continue driving to her home in Columbus, being threatened with a box cutter and by the suspect pulling her hair.

She reportedly sustained several cuts on her arm during the ride.

The man asked her to stop the vehicle on Interstate 270 south, and he exited the car and headed north on foot, according to the press release.

Anyone with information should call 740-670-5555.
