Pataskala: Thieves swipe tools, lawn equipment from local homes

The Pataskala Division of Police is investigating multiple reports of stolen tools and lawn equipment from May 31 to June 7.

* A resident in the in the 14000 block of Cleveland Avenue reported the theft of a chain saw and box of tools valued at $650 between 7 a.m. May 31 and 8:01 p.m. June 5. The tools were taken from a shed at the home, according to the report.

* A resident 200 block of Mill Street reported the theft of a chain saw, concrete saw, miter saw, two nail guns and a stapler valued at $2,600 between 5:15 p.m. June 6 and 7:30 a.m. June 7.

* A resident who lives at Woodbridge Place and Bristol Drive reported the theft of two leaf blowers, a weed trimmer, a battery, a battery charger and other lawn equipment valued at $820 between 10 p.m. June 6 and 7:51 a.m. June 7.
