Aaron Tiller of the Licking Heights High School football team signed Feb. 5 to play at Southern University in Baton Rouge, La.
Tiller, a 6-foot-1, 240-pound end, was the leader of a defense that led the Hornets to two consecutive Division II playoff appearances.
Last fall, he had 66.5 tackles, including 19.5 sacks and 13 tackles for loss, as the Hornets finished 9-2 overall and shared the LCL-Big School Division championship at 3-1. He was the league’s defensive Player of the Year.
Tiller was first-team all-state, first-team all-district and a ThisWeek Super 25 pick.
