"Every school district has folks who volunteer either in the buildings, in PTOs, booster clubs or on special projects. They mean so much to making our school district who we are and what we can provide," Superintendent Larry Zimmerman told ThisWeek. "But, we also have folks who go far and above the typical volunteer and the Good Apple Award in Marysville is our way saying a special thanks to them for what they do for our kids. We could not do what we do without our volunteers who do so many things for the good of Marysville schools."
