Dec. 21
• A Richwood resident reported that when she got on state Route 4 from U.S. Route 33, she ran over an object in the road, causing damage to her exhaust system.
• A Windmill Drive resident reported that someone broke into his apartment and stole several items.
• A Scott Farms Boulevard resident reported that she witnessed her neighbor siphoning gas from a truck.
• A West Fourth Street resident reported that someone stole Christmas decorations from her yard.
• A resident of North Oak Street reported that while shopping at a business on Coleman’s Crossing Boulevard, her wallet and its contents were taken from her purse.
Dec. 22
• A resident on Milcrest Drive reported that a female sold him two $100 gift cards for the price of $50 each. The gift cards were for a local business but only had a value of $12 each.
• A 36-year-old Marysville woman was arrested and charged with theft after stealing miscellaneous merchandise valued at $140.82 from a business on Coleman’s Crossing Boulevard.

• Someone reportedly placed fluid on the interior control panel of the elevator of a public building on South Plum Street.
• A 20-year-old Marysville woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant through Marysville Municipal Court. She also was charged with drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Dec. 24
• A 31-year-old Marysville man was arrested and charged with nuisance/litter control after he was observed smashing a microwave against the brick wall in the alley behind Main Street.
• A 25-year-old Cable man was arrested and charged with open container after he was observed walking on North Main Street near Third Street.
• A 26-year-old Marysville man was arrested and charged with open container after he was observed walking on East Fifth Street with an open container of beer.
• An employee at a business on Coleman’s Crossing Boulevard reported that someone drove off without paying for gasoline.
Dec. 25
• A 43-year-old Marysville man was arrested on Caddie Drive on an outstanding warrant through Marysville Municipal Court.
• A fire that occurred at an apartment complex on Milford Avenue is being investigated. No one was injured.
Dec. 26
• An employee at a business on North Cherry Street reported a female has been barred from the premises after being involved in a theft from the business.
• A 26-year-old Marysville man was arrested and charged with possession of drugs during a traffic stop on Pearse Drive.
• A 27-year-old West Liberty man was arrested and charged with driving under suspension during a traffic stop on Pearse Drive.
• A resident on Hickory Gate Drive reported that he needed help. He was found to be highly intoxicated and was transported to Union County Memorial Hospital for evaluation.
Dec. 27
• A 16-year-old male who was visiting his grandparents on Linden Street was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and not having a driver’s license after he allegedly took his grandparents’ vehicle without their permission.
• A resident of Meadows Drive reported that while at a business on West Fifth Street, someone stole her wallet and prescription medication from her purse.

• A Kenny Lane resident reported that someone entered his apartment and assaulted him. The incident is under investigation.
• A resident of Kenny Lane reported that an unknown masked man entered his residence and struck him in the head with a gun while he slept.

• A 32-year-old Marysville woman was arrested for criminal trespass after it was reported she was kicking an apartment door on Allenby Drive. She was told to leave and refused. She reportedly was intoxicated and thought the apartment was hers.

• A street sign at the corner of East Fourth and Olive streets was moved by someone.
• An employee at a business on East Fifth Street reported a theft.
• A resident of Bridgewater Drive reported that they had found a Christmas card tampered with, and white powder was found in it.

• A resident of Collins Avenue reported vandalism after someone broke the glass on the front door.
• A 29-year-old Marysville man was arrested for possession of drugs after officers were called to his home on a noise complaint.
• A 25-year-old Marysville man was arrested for domestic violence after a fight with his girlfriend.
Jan. 1
• A 24-year-old Marysville man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.
Jan. 2
• An employee at a business on Industrial Parkway reported that someone broke into the business and stole six or seven generators.
Jan. 3
• Someone reportedly spray-painted graffiti on two business on North Main Street.
• A business on Coleman’s Crossing Boulevard reported a theft.
Union County Sheriff’s Office
Dec. 19
• While on patrol, deputies attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation, but the driver attempted to elude them. The vehicle pulled into a driveway and the passenger took off running and had to be chased down by one of the deputies. The passenger, a 30-year-old Michigan man, was arrested for obstructing official business and on an outstanding felony warrant from the state of Michigan. The driver of the vehicle, a 28-year-old Kentucky woman, was arrested for obstructing official business and cited for speeding. Unknown types of prescription medication were found inside the vehicle and were sent for analysis. Both individuals were transported to the Tri County jail.
Dec. 20
• A 26-year-old Marysville man was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device after a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of U.S. Route 33 and U.S. Route 42.
• A resident of the village of Essex reported a .22-caliber rifle he owns had been borrowed by several people and he believes it may have been pawned by one of them.
Dec. 21
• A deputy responded to the area of state Route 37 and Swartz Road on a report of a one-vehicle non-injury accident involving a deer.
• A deputy responded to the 19000 block of Orchard Road for a report of a one-vehicle non-injury accident involving a Honda Civic and a telephone pole. A 44-year-old Plain City man was issued a traffic citation for failure to control.
• A deputy responded to an address in the 32000 block of state Route 37 on a report of theft. A resident reported someone stole a .22-caliber rifle and a crossbow.
Dec. 22
• Deputies responded to the 14000 block of Weaver Road on a report of an aircraft crash. Deputies assisted the Marysville Fire Department, the Marysville Police Department and the Ohio State Highway Patrol at the crash scene.
Dec. 23
• While on a traffic stop, deputies arrested a 25-year-old Mount Victory woman for drug paraphernalia.
• A deputy responded to the 16000 block of Wheeler Green Road in reference to a vehicle-deer non-injury accident.
Dec. 24
• A deputy responded to a residence in the 16000 block of Martin Welch Road in reference to the theft of medication from a locked vehicle.
• A deputy responded to the area of Mitchell Dewitt Road and Warner Road on a report of a disabled vehicle. Upon arrival, the deputy found the driver and vehicle in a ditch. The driver, a 20-year-old Marysville woman, was arrested for OVI.
