• While on patrol, deputies stopped near a disabled vehicle in the 21000 block of state Route 245. While speaking with the driver, deputies reportedly found drug paraphernalia inside the car. The driver, a 17-year-old male, was taken to the Central Ohio Youth Center.

• A deputy initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of state Routes 31 and 47 for traffic infractions that were similar to a complaint called into the sheriff's office minutes earlier. After speaking with the driver, he was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence. The driver was a 48-year-old Michigan man.

• A deputy responded to the area of Industrial Parkway and state Route 161 on a report of a two-vehicle non-injury accident.

• A deputy responded to the area of state Route 347 and Storms Road on report of a one-vehicle non-injury accident involving a deer.

• A deputy responded to an address in the 21000 block of state Route 245 on a report of theft. A resident said someone stole a video game that had been stored in a shed.

• Deputies responded to an address in the 27000 block of state Route 739 on a report of an altercation with a firearm that was discharged. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with the individuals that remained there and determined that the man who fired the gun was intoxicated. The man, a 60-year-old from Marysville, was arrested for firing a weapon while intoxicated.

Jan. 2

• A deputy responded to an address in the 14000 block of Weaver Road on a report of a one-vehicle non-injury crash involving a vehicle and a mailbox. A 27-year-old Marysville woman was issued a traffic citation for failure to control.

• A deputy responded to a business on South Mill Street in Milford Center on a report of theft. An employee reported someone stole an item from inside the business and was caught on videotape.

Jan. 3

• A deputy responded to an address in the 15000 block of state Route 347 on a report of vandalism. A resident reported a hole in his car door that appeared to be from a bullet. He said he was not sure when or where this occurred.

Jan. 4

• A deputy responded to the 7000 block of Hinton Mill Road on a report of a vehicle crashing into a yard and a small tree and then flipping onto its top. A 20-year-old Marysville man was issued a traffic citation for failure to control.

• A deputy responded to an address in the 14000 block of Watkins Road on a report of theft. A resident reported a co-worker had stolen a credit card and made charges on it.

• A deputy met with an individual who was involved in a deer-car accident earlier in the day near the intersection of Collins Road and Paver Barnes Road.
