Terry E.J. Jordan, 20, of 226 Bain Ave., Marion, appeared in Marysville Municipal Court on Feb. 22 and was charged with conspiracy, a second-degree felony after allegedly plotting to rob a local McDonald’s restaurant.

Jordan’s bond was set at $100,000. A pre-trial hearing was scheduled for 8 a.m. March 2.

According to a police department press release, local law-enforcement authorities developed sources indicating Jordan had planned to rob the store with a firearm and with assistance from a juvenile employee of the restaurant.

Jordan was arrested outside a local store on Coleman’s Crossing Boulevard in Marysville. Police said they had found a mask and a pellet-type of handgun in his car.

The juvenile, a 15-year-old, was arrested and removed from the store simultaneously to Jordan’s arrest.

Police said that although no robbery was committed, it was clear the suspect was on his way to commit the crime at the time of his arrest.
