Those candidates resulted from a traditional search which includes posting the position and accepting applications. The board will also continue a targeted search to "actively look for accomplished potential candidates and encourage them to formally apply," according to a Board news release.

Interviews of the six candidates will take place on Monday, Feb. 27, Tuesday, Feb. 28, and Wednesday, March 1.

Dr. Lois Cavucci is the current principal of Our Lady of Peace School in Canton, Ohio.

Darren Jenkins is the current superintendent at the Northwest Ohio Educational Service Center in Archbold, Ohio.

Diane Mankins is the current executive director of middle grades and achievement data for South-Western City Schools in Grove City, Ohio.

Leigh Ann McCray is the current assistant superintendent at Carrollton Exempted Village Schools in Carrollton, Ohio.
