Marysville police

Feb. 7

• A Marysville police officer assisted Union County Sheriff's Office units on a traffic stop on Raymond Road at the Marysville Reservoir.

• A man reported his wallet was stolen from his coat pocket while he was at work on West Fifth Street.

Feb. 8

• A boat reported stolen from Delaware County was found behind a business on N. Main St.

• A 23-year-old Columbus man was arrested for felonious assault after officers were called to the 800 block of Hickory Drive. Police reports said a person was stabbed during an argument.

Feb. 9

• A Valley Drive resident reported a package was delivered to his home but was gone by the time he arrived.

Feb. 14

• A 23-year-old Marysville man was arrested after a West Ninth Street resident reported he allegedly stole a wallet.

Union County Sheriff

Feb. 8

• A deputy responded to the 14000 block of Middleburg Plain City Road in reference to a vehicle in a ditch. The driver was cited.

• A deputy responded to the 8100 block of US 42 in reference to an employee theft.

• An assault was reported a residence in the 14000 block of Pleasant Ridge Drive. A suspect was taken to Union County Memorial Hospital for an evaluation, sheriff's reports said.

• A resident in the 12000 block of Leeper Perkins Road reported $157.77 in unauthorized charges were made on a credit card.

• Deputies assisted the State Highway Patrol in locating a possible injury accident in the area of U.S. Route 33 and state Route 245 involving a vehicle in a ravine. The vehicle was located and the State Highway Patrol handled the report.

Feb. 9

• A URE employee reported a power box was accessed without permission in the 26000 block of Lunda Road.

• A single-vehicle accident involving a dump truck was reported in the 8500 block of state Route 736.

• An assault involving two boys was reported in 18000 block of state Route 4.

Feb. 10

• Employees at a business in the 9000 block of Memorial Drive reported seeing a white Ford van pull onto the property and dump items in the business' dumpster

• A deputy responded to the area of U.S. Route 33 at Beecher Gamble Road on a report of a vehicle in the ditch.

Feb. 11

• A 38-year-old Marysville man was arrested for domestic violence in the 14000 block of Weaver Road. He was taken to the Tri-County Jail.

• A domestic dispute was reported in the 22000 block of Wolford Maskill Road.

Feb. 12

• A deputy responded with the Allen Township Fire Department to a residence in the 24000 block of state Route 245 on a report that piles of wood were on fire. After the fire department was able to extinguish the blaze, it was determined the fire had been intentionally set.

• A.deputy responded to the area of state Route 4 and Hoskins Road on a report that a vehicle had crashed into a ditch.

• Several mailboxes were reported damaged in the 9000 block of state Route 736. According to the sheriff's office, it appeared the damage might have been accidentally caused by ODOT crews. No report was taken and the caller was referred to ODOT.

Feb. 13

• Deputies responded to the 9600 block of Industrial Parkway with the Jerome Township Fire Department on a report of an injury accident.

Feb. 14

• A vehicle crashed into a tree in the area of Carter and Reeley roads. One person was transported to Memorial Hospital of Union County. A 31-year-old West Mansfield resident was issued a traffic citation for failure to control.
