• Employees at a business on Milford Avenue reported receiving bad checks.

• An Allenby Drive resident reported that he was assaulted and robbed while walking home.

• A representative of a business on Coleman's Crossing Boulevard reported the theft of cash and merchandise.

Feb. 17

• Officers responded to an alarm at a business in the 300 block of East Fifth Street to find the phone lines had been cut.

• An employee at a business in the 200 block of North Main Street reported a window had been broken.

• An employee at a a business in the 700 block of Milford Avenue reported a rock was thrown through the window.

• Vehicles were reported sprayed with pain on Hemlock Drive.

• A resident in the 100 block of Elwood Avenue reported medications were stolen from a vehicle.

• A man and woman were charged with theft after a representative of a business in the 500 block of Coleman's Crossing Boulevard reported the two were shoplifting.

• A woman was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after an officer stopped a vehicle in the lot of a business in the 200 block of East Eighth Street.

• A woman was charged with OVI following a traffic stop, during which the vehicle she was driving went into a yard and struck a tree on West Fourth Street near Maple Street.

Feb. 18

• A man was charged with OVI and failure to control after a passerby reported seeing a vehicle off the road on Milford Avenue near state Route 4. According to police reports, the vehicle hit a power pole.

• Officers were called to a business in the 900 block of East Fifth Street after fire crews responding to an alarm reported the building appeared to have been burglarized.

• A resident in the 600 block of Meadows Drive reported her juvenile son was assaulted by another juvenile.

Feb. 19

• A man was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Marion. Police investigating a report of a suspicious vehicle in a parking lot in the 700 block of Collins Avenue found him in the vehicle. He was also in possession of drugs, according to police reports.

• A man was charged with driving under suspension during a traffic stop at Creekview Drive and state Route 31.

Feb. 20

• A man was charged with driving under suspension following a traffic stop on East Fifth Street.

• Marysville police assisted the Ohio State Highway Patrol with a pursuit that began on Watkins Road east of the cityinvolving an SUV traveling at around 100 mph. The pursuit continued west on Watkins and on to U.S. 33 west toward the city, where Marysville police units assisted. An officer deployed a spike strip near U.S. 33 and U.S. 36, which caught one of the vehicle's tires. The SUV then stopped at U.S. 33 near milepost 9, where patrol troopers took the driver into custody.

Feb. 21

• An employee at a business on Charles Lane reported the theft of glucose testing supplies and a glucose testing machine.

Feb. 22

• A 46-year-old Marysville man was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Marys-ville Municipal Court during a traffic stop on North Maple Str-eet

• A resident of Milcrest Drive reported someone she knows took money from her home on two different occasions.

• An employee at a business on East Fifth Street reported receiving counterfeit money.

Union County Sheriff Feb. 16

• A deputy and personnel from the Marysville police and fire departments were dispatched to the intersection of state Route 4 and Collins Avenue to investigate a crash involving a maroon Chevrolet. No injuries were sustained but the driver was transported to Union County Memorial Hospital for unrelated medical concerns.

Feb. 17

• A deputy assisted the Union County dog warden and the humane society with an investigation of alleged animal abuse at a property in the 19000 block of Bellville Road.

• A 33-year-old Hilliard woman was charged with criminal Damaging, menacing and domestic violence after dep-uties were dispatched to a home in the 18000 block of state Route 347 on a report of a female damaging the house windows and a parked vehicle. The woman was transported to the Tri County jail.. After deputies cleared the scene, witnesses reported seeing another person damage the tires on the same vehicle. An investigation is continuing.

• A deputy was dispatched to the intersection of Buck Run Road and North Darby Coe Road to investigate an accident involving a black 1991 Honda and a gray 2012 Kia. A 24-year-old North Lewisburg man was cited for failure to yield the right of way at an Intersection.

Feb. 18

• A deputy and the Marysville Fire Department responded to the area of Whitestone Road and U.S. Route 36 to investigate an accident involving a 2010 Acura and a 2000 Chrysler sedan. A 29-year-old Delaware man was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.

• A vehicle was reported on its top in the area of North-west and Honda parkways. The vehicle had fallen off a trailer on which it was being transported, sheriff's office reports said. A 43-year-old Upper Sandusky man was cited for insecure load.

• A 63-year-old Columbus man was charged with OVI on U.S. 33 near Mitchell Dewitt Road.

Feb. 19

• A resident in the 9000 block of Wells Road reported finding a bullet and a bullet hole in the bathroom. According to sheriff's office reports, someone in the area had been target-shooting the previous evening. The case remains under investigation.

• Deputies arrested a 36-year-old Columbus man for taking scrap materials, including pallets, steel, a metal tray and some garage door panels from a business in the 8200 block of Estates Parkway.

Feb. 20

• A 51-year-old Richwood man was charged with for OVI and cited for failure to control after the pickup truck he was driving hit a parked car in the 26000 block of Claibourne Road.

Feb. 21

• A resident in the 23000 block of Bear Swamp Road reported fraudulent charges were made on his credit card.

• A resident in the 25000 block of state Route 31 reported a credit card had been used fraudulently.

Feb. 22

• A resident on Pleasant Street in Milford Center reported unauthorized charges on his credit card in excess of $2,000.

• A resident in the 8500 block of Currier Road reported $1,371.72 in fraudulent charges had been made on a credit card.
