Deputies responded to a residence in the 10000 block of Laguna Circle for a report that a man was attempting to gain access to an upstairs window.

Marysville police March 21

• A resident of Collins Avenue reported that her daughter was threatened in school.

• A 21-year-old Marysville woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Marysville Municipal Court.

March 22

• Employees at a business on U.S. Route 36 reported that on March 21 at 10:41 p.m. a man stole items from a storage trailer.

• A female reported that while she was walking on the trail at Millcreek Park, a male riding a bicycle slowed next to her and told her she smelled good. He then asked her to go into the woods with him.

• A 27-year-old Marysville man was arrested for disorderly conduct after an argument with an apartment manager.

March 23

• An employee at a business on Coleman's Crossing Boulevard reported five dealer plates were missing.

• An employee at a business on Coleman's Crossing Boulevard admitted to ringing up a $50 gift card for herself and not paying for it. She agreed to pay the money back to avoid criminal charges.

• A resident West Seventh Street resident reported a backpack containing valuables was stolen from his home on March 15 or March 16.

• Assistance was given to the Central Ohio Youth Center after a 17-year-old boy escaped from a guard while being treated at Union County Memorial Hospital. He was apprehended.

March 24

• A 19-year-old Marysville woman was charged with underage consumption after she was found intoxicated walking eastbound in the westbound lane on Delaware Avenue.

• A 29-year-old Marysville man was arrested and charged with OVI during a traffic stop at North Plum and East Fourth streets.

March 25

• A 26-year-old Marysville man was arrested and charged with resisting arrest, assault on a police officer and disorderly conduct. According to police, he was intoxicated and passed out on North Main Street.

March 26

• The owner of a business on Delaware Avenue reported it was broken into and a laptop computer was stolen.

• A Realtor for an abandoned bank-owned residence on Glen Oaks Drive reported several items that should have stayed with the home are missing.

• Staff members at a business on Stocksdale Drive reported a rock was thrown through the lobby window.

• A 39-year-old Plain City man was arrested in Franklin County on an outstanding warrant through Marysville Municipal Court.

• A resident on Windmill Drive reported hearing glass breaking at a neighbor's apartment. Fire damage was found on a front window.

March 27

• A resident of Northcrest Drive reported the theft of prescription medication.

• A 27-year-old Plain City man was arrested for criminal trespass and theft after he allegedly entered a business on Coleman's Crossing Boulevard and attempted to take a cart full of merchandise out the door without paying.

• A 19-year-old Marysville woman was charged with misuse of 911 after she made several calls to 911 without having an emergency to report.

March 28

• A fire was reported in the 300 block of Wind Mill Drive

Union County Sheriff March 21

• A property inspector reported approximately 50 feet of copper pipe had been stolen from inside a vacant residence in the 28000 block of state Route 31.

• A homeowner in the 18000 block of state Route 739 reported shots were fired at a deck and pool.

• A homeowner in the 9000 block of Wasserbeck Road reported a 20-inch Stihl chainsaw was stolen.

• Employees at a business in the 24000 block of Honda Parkway reported a projector was stolen.

• The sheriff's office received a report that a Honda Accord hit a mailbox and a tree in the 9000 block of Ketch Road. An 18-year-old Plain City man was cited for failure to control.

• Approximately 150 prescription pills were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle at a residence in the 25000 block of Storms Road.

March 22

• A 15-year-old boy a residence in the 28000 block of Osborne Road who refused to go to school was arrested and transported to the Central Ohio Youth Center.

• A dump truck hit a power line in the 17000 block of Echo Drive. An investigation is pending.

March 24

• Deputies responded to a residence in the 10000 block of Laguna Circle for a report that a man was attempting to gain access to an upstairs window.

• Two 24-foot aluminum walking planks valued at $1,000 were reported stolen from a residence in the 10000 block of Ketch Road.

• A 35-year-old Marysville woman was charged with assault in connection with an incident that occurred behind a bar on South Mill Street in Milford Center.

March 25

• Deputies responding to the area of state Route 31 and Hillview Road on a report of a possible accident found a car in the ditch with no one around it. The vehicle was towed and the owner contacted. The owner admitted driving the car into the ditch. A 37-year-old Broadway woman was cited for failure to control, driving under suspension and expired registration.

• A 42-year-old Sparks, Nev., man was arrested on U.S. Route 33 for OVI and cited for failure to drive in marked lanes. He was released to a family member.

March 26

• A deputy responded to the 8200 block of U.S. Route 42 with the Jerome Township Fire Department on a report that a vehicle had crashed into a guardrail. The deputy actually found two separate accidents. A 23-year-old Plain City man was cited for failure to control.

• While on a traffic stop in the area of Middleburg Plain City Road and state Route 161, a deputy located drugs in a vehicle with the assistance of the UCSO K9 unit.

March 27

• A homeowner in the 17000 block of Robinson Road reported damage to his mailbox and a neighbor's mailbox.
