Union County snow plow backs into car

The Union County Sheriff's Office reported a deputy responded to the intersection of Osborne Road and state Route 31 to investigate a property damage accident involving a Union County Engineer's Office snow plow that backed into a 1999 Toyota Camry.

Jan. 24

A resident of East 6th Street reported items stolen from her unlocked vehicle.

A resident of North Maple Street reported that his daughter was bitten by a neighbor's dog.

Jan. 25

A 26-year-old Marysville man and a 27-year-old West Mansfield man were arrested for disorderly conduct after an incident on Milford Avenue.

Jan. 26

A 26-year-old Marysville man arrested for disorderly conduct the previous day was arrested for criminal trespassing after a business on Industrial Parkway reported he and a 19-year-old Marysville woman were there after they had been previously banned from that business.

The woman was arrested for obstructing official business during an arrest at her address.

A resident of Dogwood Drive reported that her iPad was stolen while at a business on Coleman's Crossing Boulevard.

Four juveniles were arrested after shoplifting several items while at a business on Coleman's Crossing Boulevard.

Jan. 27

A 57-year-old Marysville man was arrested and charged with domestic violence following an altercation with his wife.

A resident of North Maple Street reported her underage daughter was provided with alcohol and marijuana Jan. 19 while at a residence on Milford Avenue.

Jan. 28

A resident of North Main Street reported that several windows were broken out of a building on East 5th Street.

Jan. 29

Newly planted trees in the city parking lot on East 4th Street and North Plum Street were snapped in half by an unknown person.

A student at Marysville High School was assaulted by another student Jan. 10.

A business on Delaware Avenue reported that on an unknown date and time an unknown person cut the lock to a bay and made entry to a coin machine.

A business on Coleman's Crossing Boulevard reported a shoplifting incident involving five suspects.

A resident of White Stone Road reported that items were stolen from her son's storage unit on Milford Avenue.

Sheriff's reports

Jan. 24

A 2003 Saturn Ion struck a road sign at the intersection of state Route 4 and state Route 37. A 20-year-old Richwood man was issued a traffic citation for failure to control.

During a traffic stop on Delaware Avenue at Coleman's Crossing Boulevard, a deputy and the Sheriff's Office canine unitelocated drugs and paraphernalia in a 1997 Ford Mustang.

The driver, a 20-year-old Marysville woman, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Deputies were dispatched to North Mill Street, near Reed Street in Milford Center to investigate a report of a small child running around without adult supervision. With the assistance of a passerby, the 3-year-old girl was found unharmed and returned to her parents in Milford Center.

Jan. 25

A 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer hit a deer in the 22000 block of Delaware County Line Road.

A 2000 Mercury Sable struck a utility pole in the intersection of Middleburg Plain City Road and state Route 38.

Deputies and units from the Pleasant Valley Fire District were dispatched to the 8000 block of state Route 736 to investigate an injury accident involving a 2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo that had crashed into a ditch.

A 26-year-old Marysville man was arrested at a residence on West State Street in Milford Center and charged with domestic violence.

Another 26-year-old Marys-ville man was also arrested for an outstanding warrant. Both men were transported to the Tri County Regional Jail.

A 2005 Ford F-150 pickup truck struck a utility pole in the 14000 block of State Road.

A 59-year-old Marysville man was issued a traffic citation for failure to control.

Jan. 26

Deputies and units from the Leesburg Township Fire Department and the Northern Union County Fire and EMS District responded to the intersection of Harmon Patrick Road and Sandusky Road to investigate an injury accident involving a 1997 Ford Ranger pickup truck that crashed into a ditch and then went airborne.

A 35-year-old Richwood man was issued a traffic citation for driving under suspension.

A passenger, also a 35-year-old Richwood man, was issued a traffic citation for not wearing his seatbelt.

A 24-year-old Dublin man was arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence after driving a 1999 Toyota Solara in the ditch at the intersection of state Route 161 and Cosgray Road.

He was transported to the Tri County Regional Jail.

A 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe crashed into the back of a semi-truck in the 11000 block of U.S. Route 42.

Jan. 27

A 2005 Honda struck a deer in the 14000 block of state Route 739.

As a result of a traffic stop on U.S. Route 33, west of Delaware Avenue, a 36-year-old Bellefontaine man was arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence.

He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.

Jan. 28

A 1998 Jeep drove into the ditch and struck a telephone junction box in the 24000 block of Yearsley Road.

A 37-year-old Marion woman was issued a traffic citation for failure to control.

A 2003 Honda Civic struck a mailbox in the 21000 block of Cotton Slash Road.

Jan. 29

Deputies and units from the Leesburg Township Fire Department and the Marysville Fire Department responded to the intersection of state routes 347 and 4 on a report of an injury accident involving a 1994 Ford F-350 and a 2007 Dodge.

Both drivers declined medical transport.
