Marysville schools earned two A’s and a B on three segments of the revamped state report card that was released by the Ohio Department of Education on Aug. 22.
Districts will now earn letter grades in place of the previous designations that ranged from “excellent with distinction” to “continuous improvement.” Overall letter grades for each district will not be included in the report cards until 2015.
According to the ODE, Marysville schools met 23 of 24 state standards, for a letter grade of A.
The district’s Performance Index score was a B; Performance Index measures the achievement for all students enrolled for a school year.
The Marysville district earned an A in Value Added, which measures how much academic progress students make in a school year.
