Marysville woman dies after house fire

The Marysville woman who was trapped in her home by a Jan. 17 fire has died. 

According to information from the city of Marysville, Jennifer Fuller, 38, died last night, Jan. 27, at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

Fuller, whose legal name is Jennifer Pummell (she uses her maiden name), called 911 shortly after 1 p.m. Jan. 17 and said she was trapped in the back of her house at 712 W. Fifth St. 

Firefighters found her unconscious. She was taken to Memorial Hospital of Union County, then transferred to Ohio State.

According to information provided by the city, “The fire began in the living room of the home, and at this point, all accidental causes have been ruled out. The investigation is continuing with further information being collected.”

An autopsy will be performed by the Franklin County Coroner’s Office.
