A Marysville woman was indicted March 10 in connection with the death of a bicyclist in September.
Cydney Troyer, 58, was indicted on one count of aggravated vehicular homicide, a third-degree felony, and one count of vehicular homicide, a misdemeanor.
Troyer was driving west on County Home Road the morning of Sept. 5 when she hit a bicyclist, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said at the time. The bicyclist, Martha K. Shaw, 57, died at Memorial Hospital of Union County.
Union County Prosecutor David Phillips said he could not discuss specifics of the case. For vehicular homicide to be a felony, the driver must have acted recklessly.
Phillips said he likely would offer Troyer a plea deal.
