David Shahbodaghi of New Albany has been inducted into Omicron Delta Kappa, a national leadership honorary with a chapter at Muskingum College. The group recognizes achievement in five areas of scholarship: athletics, campus/community service, social/religious activities, campus government or public service and the creative and performing arts.

The group recognizes achievement in five areas of scholarship: athletics, campus/community service, social/religious activities, campus government or public service and the creative and performing arts.

Shahbodaghi is a double major in biology and history.

Ashland University has announced its May 2008 graduates. Two New Albany residents, Tricia Berger and Michael Bryan, received degrees.

Berger completed a master of education degree with a major in curriculum and instruction. Bryan received a master of business administration degree with a major in executive management.

The University of Cincinnati has announced its dean's list from the 2008 winter quarter. The following New Albany students were named to the list: Jordan Dodson, Meredith Farst, Austin Francis, Paige Grimard, Joseph Mayer, Joseph Radloff, Tazin Rahman and Bridgette Wilson.
