The Otterbein College Signature Series welcomes the return of alumnus and Broadway choreographer Dan Knechtges.

The Otterbein College Signature Series welcomes the return of alumnus and Broadway choreographer Dan Knechtges.

At 7 p.m. today, Knechtges will discuss his professional life, which includes choreographing "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" and "Xanadu."

Knechtges will speak in the Fritsche Theatre in Cowan Hall, 30 S. Grove St. The event is free and open to the public.

Knechtges also will lend his choreographic skills to Otterbein's "Dance Concert 2009: To Each His Own!" Tickets are $15 and can be reserved by calling (614) 823-1109. The opening night show on March 5 begins at 7:30 p.m. The Sunday matinee on March 8 begins at 2 p.m., and all other performances begin at 8 p.m.

The Licking County Ohio Horseman's Council will hold its annual Tack Auction on Saturday Feb. 28, at the Teheran Grotto Hall, 124 Waterworks Road in Newark.

Doors open at 4 p.m. with the auction beginning at 5 p.m. There will also be a silent auction, 50-50 drawing and plenty of food.
