New Albany resident to play role in production of 'The Music Man'
Kathy Kleszczelski of New Albany will perform in the "The Music Man" presented by the Pleasure Guild of Nationwide Children's Hospital.
The performances, running March 12-14 at the Palace Theatre, will benefit the hospice and palliative care programs at Nationwide Children's Hospital. Performances are scheduled for 7 p.m. March 12; 2 and 7 p.m. March 13; and 2 p.m. March 14.
Kleszczelski will play Eulalie Mackecknie Shinn, the mayor's wife.
Tickets, which cost between $20 and $22, can be purchased at any Ticketmaster location or at www.pleasureguild.org.
"The Pleasure Guild donated more than $200,000 to the hospital and hopes to contribute even more this year," said Nicole Papa, president of Pleasure Guild, in a press release last week. "Proceeds from 'The Music Man' benefit children for whom a cure is beyond reach and are directed toward paying for the uncompensated expenses of the hospice and palliative care programs."
