Ultimate U Total Heath wellness facility on Zarley Street is hosting an eight-week, free training program for residents participating in the Susan G. Koman Race for the Cure May 15.

The "Zero to 5K" program is free and open to residents from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturdays and from 3 to 4 p.m. Sundays until the May 15 event to raise money for breast cancer awareness.

An Ultimate U membership is not required to participate.

"We're really excited to provide greater New Albany residents with the 'Zero to 5K' program," said Zoe Guirlinger, president of Ultimate U Total Health. "It's a fit for everyone and benefits great causes: breast cancer and personal health awareness. Whether you're a jogger who is looking to set a new personal best or a walker needing new motivation or maybe just starting to exercise, our program focuses on reaching individual goals, gearing training and tips to all fitness levels."
