The New Albany Habitat Partnership recently sponsored a fundraising raffle, generating nearly $12,000 for a 2011 home construction project.
New Albany resident Sue Porter had the winning ticket. She won a trip for four to the Calistoga Ranch in Napa Valley, Calif.
The prize was donated by an anonymous New Albany family in support of the mission of Habitat for Humanity — Greater Columbus.

The Swing for the Cure golf outing will be held Thursday, Sept. 23, at Little Turtle Golf Club, 5400 Little Turtle Way West, Westerville.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research at the Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center—Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital.
Registration begins at 10 a.m., with a shotgun start scheduled for 11:30 a.m.
Prizes will be awarded for low gross foursome, longest drive and closest to pin. Mulligans and a skins game will also be featured.
A three-course steak dinner will begin at 5:30 p.m. at Smith & Wollensky.
Complimentary beer, wine and liquor will be available, with tax and gratuity included.
The cost is $225 for individual golfers, or $850 for a foursome. The cost includes a Smith & Wollensky boxed lunch, team photos and dinner.
