New Albany residents named to the list were Andrea Blamble, Jillian Bowers, Kevin Brand, Matthew Brody, Chad Call, Kelsey Conrad, Alexander Damico, Adam Debellis, Nathan Farshchi, Erin Laviola, Victoria Lin, Emily Pulri and Benjamin Trimbur.

Alan Varney of New Albany was named to the dean's list for the fall 2010 semester at Mount Vernon Nazarene University.

New Albany resident Skyler Engel was named to the fall 2010 dean's list at Flagler College.

He is the son of Wendy and Steve Engel and is a member of Flagler's tennis team.

Zachary Poll, a 2010 graduate of New Albany High School, was named to the fall 2010 dean's list at the University of Arizona.

Jordan Dodson, a 2005 graduate of Grove City High School, has been accepted into the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia to pursue a performance diploma in classical guitar.

Jordan is the son of Peggy Dodson of New Albany and Douglas Dodson of Galloway.

Curtis is a selective conservatory, with an acceptance rate of 4 percent. Dodson was awarded a full scholarship to attend Curtis in the fall of 2011.

He is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati Conservatory of Music and is currently attending Manhattan School of Music in New York City.

The University of Dayton has announced its fall 2010 dean's list.

New Albany students named to the list were Kristen Diddle, Alexander Kaltenbach and Saundra Sliwowski.

To be named to the list, students must achieve a grade-point average of at least 3.5.
