The grand opening of INC@8000, a business-incubator center created through village partnerships, is 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 14, at the building, 8000 Walton Parkway.

Visitors will be able to see the cubicles and office space being leased in the facility, which was made possible through a lease with the New Albany Co. The partnership is part of the Innovate New Albany initiative to help new companies get a foothold in the village and to help existing companies expand.

Tom Guy, who is contracting with the village to manage the site, will open the event. Other speakers include Kenny McDonald, the chief economic officer of Columbus 2020!, Ted Ford, the chief executive officer of TechColumbus and a representative of Schottenstein Zox and Dunn, the law firm sponsoring the open house.
