Neville Brothers to headline Center Stage Gala at McCoy
The Neville Brothers will perform in New Albany on May 14 during the Center Stage Gala, a fundraising event for programming at the Jeanne B. McCoy Community Center for the Arts.
The Neville Brothers -- singer Aaron, keyboardist Art, saxophonist Charles and percussionist Cyril -- have played together for four decades and regularly bring their mix of New Orleans R&B, jazz and Caribbean sounds to festivals around the world.
Their performance is slated for 8 p.m. Saturday, May 14, at the McCoy center, 100 W. Dublin-Granville Road in New Albany.
The gala will begin with a pre-concert gathering with a New Orleans theme menu. Following the concert, a post-concert party will be held at TS24, formerly known as Travel Solutions, on Walton Parkway in New Albany. The party will feature a recreation of the Bourbon Street atmosphere, complete with casino games and bananas Foster for dessert.
