A free ghost-story writing workshop is being held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 5, at the New Albany branch of the Columbus Metropolitan Library.

A free ghost-story writing workshop is being held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 5, at the New Albany branch of the Columbus Metropolitan Library.

The workshop is sponsored by Thurber House and the Columbus Metropolitan Library. It is open to students in fourth through sixth grades.

On Oct. 23, all participants and their families will be invited to the Thurber House in downtown Columbus for a party, with tours of the “haunted” Thurber House and local actors reading the children’s ghost stories.
