Cummans said she organized a collection for the Habitat for Humanity ReStore, which accepts donated household and building items and sells them at a fraction of the retail price.

She said she will collect items from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 3, in front of the bus loop between the middle and high schools.

According to the Habitat for Humanity website, the ReStore accepts items in working condition and nothing that needs repair.

Items accepted include new and used appliances, cabinets, countertops, door hardware, doors, electronics and electrical supplies, fixtures, flooring, landscaping items, lumber, sinks, tools and windows.

The ReStore is at 3140 Westerville Road.
