Officers make string of arrests on warrants
In recent reports from the New Albany Division of Police:
* A 22-year-old man was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear at 12:44 a.m. Feb. 17 at Central College and New Albany roads.
* A 37-year-old man was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear at 5:53 p.m. Feb. 9 in the 1400 block of Beech Road.
* A 19-year-old man was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear at 7 p.m. Feb. 7 in the first block of Village Hall Road.
* A 23-year-old man was arrested on five warrants for possession of a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia, suspension, failure to reinstate and expired plates at 8:01 p.m. Feb. 28 in the 100 block of Elderwood Avenue.
* A 26-year-old man was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear at 5:37 p.m. Feb. 23 in the 7000 block of Cedar Bridge Lane.
* A person left a gas station in the first block of Dublin-Granville Road at 7:42 a.m. Feb. 27 without paying for $30.02 in gasoline.
