New Albany: $10,000 in lawn equipment reported stolen

New Albany police are investigating the reported theft of $10,000 worth of lawn-care equipment from a business in the 7000 block of Walton Parkway.

A mower, blower, trimmers and hedge clippers were reported missing from the business at 3:03 p.m. June 12.

The items were taken between 2 p.m. June 5 and 2 p.m. June 12 from a company shed, according to the police report.

The shed door had been pried open with a crowbar, the report said.

* Police arrested a 42-year-old man for a felony count of OVI, driving while under OVI suspension, failure to drive in marked lanes and refusal to take a breath test with prior refusals at 12:51 a.m. June 9 on Dublin-Granville Road.
