Eileen Leuby said she will resign as president of the New Albany Chamber of Commerce in August to become membership coordinator for the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission.
In her new role, Leuby said, she will recruit members to MORPC so all central Ohio groups are planning for the future together.
“I have mixed feelings about leaving because I really love this job (at the chamber),” Leuby said. “But I’m excited about this new opportunity to work at a wider level and work with all of my colleagues throughout central Ohio.”
Leuby became president of the New Albany Chamber of Commerce in 1997.
Her last day at the chamber is Aug. 15 and she is expected to start at MORPC later in the month.
