New Albany: Alleged theft from church offering under investigation

New Albany police are investigating the theft of $400 from the New Albany First Church of the Nazarene, 6000 Johnstown Road.

The money was stolen from an unlocked box in the church office, according to police reports.

In other recent incident reports from the New Albany Police Department:

* Police arrested a 23-year-old woman for OVI, failure to wear a seat belt and failure to drive in marked lanes at 2:48 a.m. Aug. 17 on Reynoldsburg-New Albany Road south of Brandon Road.

* Police arrested a 22-year-old woman for OVI and failure to drive in marked lanes at 1:52 a.m. Aug. 17 on Babbitt Road.

* Police arrested a 48-year-old man for domestic violence and assault at 6:12 p.m. Aug. 11 in the 7000 block of New Albany Links Drive.
