The New Albany Farmers Market will move indoors Oct. 12 for the second consecutive year.
The market will be held from 9 a.m. to noon one Saturday a month at the New Albany Church of the Resurrection Ministry Center, 6300 Dublin-Granville Road.
This year's scheduled dates are: Oct. 12, Nov. 16, Dec. 14, Jan. 11, Feb. 8 and March 8.
Last year's indoor market ran from October to February.
"We've had a great response, so we've sort of extended this year's a little bit," said Kristen Ferguson, marketing director for the nonprofit organization Healthy New Albany, which started the market in 2011.
Ferguson said 40 vendors are committed to sell wares at the farmers market, including some fresh produce and other items that are grown or made in Ohio.
Each month, local organizations, cooking demonstrations and food trucks will be featured, she said.
Ferguson said the Oct. 12 market will feature Plain Township firefighters, a New Albany pet rescue agency, cooking demonstrations with chef Jason Baer and the Ohio Farm and Good Frank food trucks.
