Jewish Community Center of Greater Columbus, Old Columbus Jews Telling Jokes -- karaoke-style joke fest, 8 p.m. Jan. 18 at the JCC, 1125 College Ave. The event honors the life and comedy of the late Sam Gordon, a jokester and JCC regular. Wexner Heritage Village Spiritual Life Team, information session and training luncheon for the Nadav Spiritual Volunteer Program, noon to 1 p.m. March 11, at Wexner Heritage Village, 1151 College Ave. Zusman Hospice Jewish Chaplain Rabbi Debbie Lefton will lead the session. This program pairs trained volunteer visitors with long-term care, independent and assisted living residents on the WHV campus, as well as unaffiliated individuals in central Ohio, who seek a spiritual confidant to explore issues such as faith, the afterlife, religious values and beliefs.
