New Albany: Stolen iPod recovered at new Bob Evans Farms facility

Bob Evans Farms' loss-prevention unit told New Albany police an iPod valued at $140 was taken at 6:57 p.m. Jan. 16 from a training room in the new Bob Evans facility at 8111 Smith's Mill Road.

The loss-prevention department identified a suspect after reviewing security video and the building's access history, according to the police report.

The suspect was employed by Scioto Services, which cleans the building. The police report said the man was confronted by loss-prevention personnel and he returned the item.

No charges have been filed in the incident.

* Police arrested a 54-year-old man for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, failure to drive in marked lanes and open container at 2:34 p.m. Jan. 30 in the 8000 block of Walton Parkway.
