The New Albany-Plain Local school board on April 28 unanimously approved a five-year contract for Superintendent April Domine.
The contract increases her salary from $155,000 to $175,000.
The contract will expire July 31, 2019.
Domine was hired in December 2010 and her contract has been renewed annually.
Board members said Domine has shown that she can move the district forward and has recruited a good team to work with her.
“We have affirmed her to be the exact, collaborative, visionary leader of exceptional quality that the district needs to achieve its goals,” said Mark Ryan, school board president.
