Easton's 10th annual job fair will be from noon to 4 p.m. Thursday, May 22, at the Hilton Columbus at Easton, 3900 Chagrin Drive.
"This is a celebratory year, it's the 10th year of the Easton job fair and there's been an outcry from businesses in the community on trying to get in," said Lynn Aspey, director of business relations for Jewish Family Services of Columbus, which organizes the job fair.
Aspey said 79 companies will participate and "every industry is represented, from education to health care, to manufacturing and logistics. There are large companies and schools and no one can participate without having open positions."
Aspey said half of the openings would be for professionals and half for entry-level positions.
She said because many companies require applications to be submitted online, the job fair features computers for people to use in applying. Separate interview rooms also will be set up for companies that want to conduct interviews at the job fair.
"In this economy, we have to work together to get people back to work," Aspey said. "There's no pre-registration. People should come with resumes in hand and dress for success."
She suggested participants bring at least 30 resumes.
