Fowler to speak at conference in Italy

Denver J. Fowler, a New Albany resident, recently accepted an invitation to be a keynote speaker and serve on the advisory board for the 2014 International Conference on Interdisciplinary Research in Education, which will be held in October in Milan, Italy.

His presentation will be on the subject of ethical leadership in schools.

Fowler earned his doctorate in educational administration from Ohio University.

He is employed by Gahanna-Jefferson Public Schools and serves as the assistant principal at Gahanna Middle School South.

Fowler also is an adjunct professor and lecturer at the Ohio State University and at Bowling Green State University.

He and his wife, Anna, have three children: Haley, Beckett, and Tegan.
