12:22 pm. July 9, Maple Canyon Avenue at Torchwood: A man reported he was sitting in his car when another man leaned into the car with a handgun. The victim said he tried to exit the car and run but the gunman shot him first.

Between 10:30 and 10:35 a.m. July 8, in the 1800 block of Sharbot Drive: Police reported a man was shot by someone driving by in a car.

3:13 a.m. July 12, in the 1900 block of Fiesta Drive: Police were investigating a reported aggravated assault against a 1-year-old. The abuse had been going on since May 1, they noted.

10:08 p.m. July 7, Karl Road at Sandalwood Place: A teenager reported he was shot when he resisted being robbed.

8:15 p.m. July 8, in the 900 block of Atlantic Avenue: A man reported a gunman tried to rob him at his residence. He said he walked away from the gunman instead of giving him any money. The victim said he heard the gunman pull the trigger, but nothing happened. The gunman then ran to the south.

10 p.m. July 8, Granddads Pizza, 1418 Morse Road: Police charged two Dresden Road residents with aggravated robbery. Employees reported two men entered the restaurant, displayed weapons and demanded the employees get to the floor. They stole cash and fled on foot.

Between 10 and 10:15 p.m. July 9, China Buffet, 1788 Morse Road: Workers reported three people carrying handguns stole cash from the restaurant and employees. The trio fled out the rear door.

12:10 a.m. July 11, Sunoco, 1949 Schrock Road: Police reported a gunman robbed the store and shot an employee in the leg.

3:10 p.m. July 13, in the 1300 block of Bolenhill Avenue: A 14-year-old boy reported another boy robbed him of $5.

10:30 p.m. July 10, Aqua Park: A man reported a pit bull dog attacked his dog in this park. The owner of the pit bull did nothing to stop the attack, saying, "My dog is only doing what it is trained to do. You're lucky I don't turn the dog loose on you."

12:37 a.m. July 11, in the 5600 block of Tacoma Avenue: A woman reported a bullet was fired through the front door of her apartment.

Burglary reports were made last week from the 4400 block of Karl, the 1400 and 1500 blocks of Morse, the 1200 block of East Dublin-Granville, the 6800 block of Garden Terrace, the 2400 block of Edmonton and the 1300 block of Bryson roads, the 1900 block of Sunny Court, the 6700 block of Springhouse Lane, the 5400 block of Buxley, the 1300 block of Barnes, the 1300 block of Sharon Green, the 6100 block of Zumstein, the 1800 block of Brimfield, the 5500 block of Durrell and the 1600 block of East Riverbirch drives, the 1500 block of Harvester, the 1600 block of Slatebrook and the 4600 block of Glengrove lanes, the 900 block of Spring Run Circle and the 6400 block of Busch Boulevard.

Auto theft was reported from the 1200 block of Northridge roads, the 1600 block of Nestling Drive and the 6600 block of Busch and the 4600 block of Northtowne boulevards.

10:45 p.m. July 11, in the 4600 block of Tamarack Boulevard: Police charged a 14-year-old boy with carrying a concealed handgun. Police said he was seen with the gun and had hidden it under a bush.
