Artwork by two St. Francis DeSales High School students is being recognized and is on display in a state building this month.

Pieces by DeSales graduate Stephanie Keller and senior Joshua Yoder has been included in the 2008 STRS-OAEA High School Art Exhibition.

Their work is among 101 pieces art by 96 Ohio high school students on display in the State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio building in Columbus. The exhibition will run through Oct. 11.

Students whose artwork was chosen for the exhibition will be presented with plaques and monetary awards in a ceremony on Oct. 11.

St. Francis DeSales High School will host parent-teacher conferences Sept. 25, which will include presentations by two departments for parents.

The guidance department will present "Making High School Count" at 6:15 p.m. for parents of freshmen.

Campus ministry will provide a presentation at 7 p.m. for parents. Both workshops will take place in the Franciscan Center. Parent-teacher conferences have been scheduled from 4 to 8 p.m.
