Students, graduates, parents, faculty and staff members from St. Francis DeSales High School will be participating in a community outreach project, "New Life Experience," on Saturday, April 9.

Community members will receive assistance with yard work, spring cleaning and painting as well as share in a day of fellowship with the volunteers, according to an announcement.

Those receiving assistance were selected by priests from the parishes that feed into the high school.

"The St. Francis DeSales High School is excited about the opportunity to live out the gospel message through this ministry," said Jackie Messerschmitt, assistant principal and one of the coordinators of this service project.

Community members who are interested in volunteering for the "New Life Experience" should call Messerschmitt at (614) 267-7808, ext. 134.
