The artwork of Ruth Michalski, a longtime resident of north Columbus, is currently included in an exhibit at Inniswood, 940 S. Hempstead Road in Westerville. The exhibit includes 25 of Michalski's floral watercolor paintings.

The artwork of Ruth Michalski, a longtime resident of north Columbus, is currently included in an exhibit at Inniswood, 940 S. Hempstead Road in Westerville. The exhibit includes 25 of Michalski's floral watercolor paintings.

Michalski taught at Ascension Lutheran Preschool for 28 years, and also worked as a floral designer. She is a member of the Worthington Art League and the Clintonville Woman's Club Rembrandts.

The exhibit runs through the end of May.

The "Spring Blast Garage and Yard Sale" in Clinton Estates will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 4.

There will also be a gathering at Trinity United Church of Christ, 1180 Shanley Drive, during the same hours.

The Native American Indian Center of Central Ohio will hold its 2011 Memorial Day Powwow Saturday through Monday, May 28-30, at Franklin County Fairgrounds, 4100 Columbia St. in Hilliard.

The event will feature Native American dancing, art, food and music and also honors United States veterans.

Gates will open at 11 a.m. each day. A grand entry of all dancers will be held at 1 and 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and 1 and 5 p.m. Monday. Admission is $7 for adults, $3 for seniors and children, with those under age 3 admitted free. Weekend passes are available for $15.

Patrons are encouraged to bring seating.
