Northern Kiwanis, breakfast event, 7:30 a.m. to noon Oct. 5, at the Clintonville Woman's Club, 3951 N. High St. Breakfasts will include pancakes, sausage, coffee, milk and orange juice. Cost for all you can eat is $5 for adults, $3 for children 5 to 10, and free for children 4 and under. All proceeds will help Kiwanis support community activities such as the Easter Egg Hunt at the Park of Roses and the Pumpkin Patch at the Community Resource Center.

Rock and Roll Revival 1957-1963 Concert, featuring Bill Cohen, 7 to 9 p.m. Oct. 5, at Overbrook Church, 4131 N. High St. Cohen will be joined by musicians Brian Szuch, Renilda Marshall and Rebecca Stansbury in performing hits by artists such as Paul Anka, Ricky Nelson and Sam Cooke. There will be trivia questions related to the late 1950s and refreshments. Donations, suggested at $10, will be accepted at the door. Proceeds will help send Cohen's wife, Randi, and their daughter, Hannah, on their annual journey to the Dominican Republic, where they serve as volunteer translators for a U.S. medical team.
