DeSales High School senior A.J. Tresoline signed a letter of intent Feb. 24 to play soccer at the University of Dayton.

A resident of Westerville, Tresoline had 10 shutouts last season as goalkeeper for the Stallions boys soccer team, which 13-7-2 overall and 2-1-1 in the CCL and lost to Dayton Carroll 3-0 in a Division II state semifinal. He earned first-team all-league and all-district honors and was named to the ThisWeek Super 12 team.

A member of the Stallions' regional finalist team in 2010 and state championship team in 2009, Tresoline also has played club soccer for Team Ohio and was a U.S. Region II team participant last summer.

He is the second DeSales soccer player to commit to Dayton this school year. Courtney Klosterman, a junior on the girls team, verbally committed to the Flyers in September.
