Clintonville Woman's Club, membership-wide garage sale, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 31, and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 1, at the clubhouse, 3951 N. High St. Members will donate items for kitchen, bed and bath, babies, pets and gardens; electronics; books; music; toys, games and sports equipment; and some special antiques. Homemade baked goods also will be offered. There is free parking available behind the club. All funds raised will provide support for CWC and the initiatives it is involved in such as the Clintonville Resource Center, Operation Buckeye and the Memory Lane project on West North Broadway. AARP Foundation Senior Community Service Employment Program assists unemployed Franklin, Delaware and Licking county workers age 55 and over with securing employment. The program offers paid work experience, specialized training, upgrading of skills and job-search assistance. Age, income and residency requirements apply. West Interfaith Legal Clinic, 5:30 to 7 p.m. every third Tuesday of the month at Upper Arlington Lutheran Church, the Church at Mill Run, 3500 Mill Run Drive, Hilliard. The Legal Clinic offers free legal advice and is available to anyone 250 percent above the poverty level or below. The legal clinic is a combined effort of Serving Our Neighbors Ministries and the Columbus Bar Association.

Health

Columbus Speech & Hearing Center, Huntington Hearing Health Program in partnership with Huntington Bank, offering free hearing screenings from 1 to 4 p.m. on the first and third Wednesdays of every month, Columbus Speech & Hearing Center, 510 E. North Broadway. Screenings will be offered to those ages 5 and older throughout 2013. To schedule appointments, call 614-261-5452.

Beyond Healing-Living Well with Cancer, yoga sessions for people with cancer and their families, 4 to 5 p.m. Wednesdays at Grow Yoga, 1780 W. Fifth Ave. Free program of gentle poses and meditation for relaxation and stress reduction. For information, call Patti Petrella at 614-406-8941.

Northwest Area Progressives, monthly meeting, 7 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of each month at various locations in Grandview Heights.
