Make-A-Wish 14th Annual Medical Mutual Columbus Walk for Wishes, 10 a.m. July 13, at Huntington Park and downtown Columbus. Participants can choose either a one- or three-mile walk to help grant wishes for children battling life-threatening medical conditions. A Finish Line Celebration filled with music, food and fun will be held at the conclusion of the walk. Walkers also have the opportunity to meet current and past Wish families. Classes & workshops

West Interfaith Legal Clinic, 5:30 to 7 p.m. every third Tuesday of the month at Upper Arlington Lutheran Church, the Church at Mill Run, 3500 Mill Run Drive, Hilliard. The Legal Clinic offers free legal advice and is available to anyone 250 percent above the poverty level or below. The Legal Clinic is a combined effort of Serving Our Neighbors Ministries and the Columbus Bar Association.

 

Meetings

Northwest Area Progressives, monthly meeting, 7 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of each month at various locations in Grandview Heights. Social time starts at 6:30 p.m. Participants can get involved in political action and community service projects in the Grandview and northwest Columbus area. Northwest Area Progressives Donkeys and Donuts, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. on the second Saturday of the month at Luck Bros. Coffee House, 1101 W. First Ave., Grandview Heights. Clintonville Beginning Dulcimer Club, 7 to 8:30 p.m. on the second Monday of each month in the Education Room of Wesley Glen, 5155 N. High St., Columbus.
