The Olentangy Orange High School girls basketball team will play host to Olentangy in a foundation game at 7 p.m. Friday. "It's a win-win situation," Olentangy coach John Feasel said. "People In Need get the money from the game, we get a game and fans get to see Orange's new court and the first meeting between our schools."

Olentangy High School is selling activity passes for all Olentangy, Shanahan Middle School and Hyatts Middle School athletic events except for tournaments. The passes will admit Olentangy school-age children and parents and can be purchased at the main office. Application forms are available online at www.olentangy.k12.oh.us. Capital junior Kevin Doran, an Olentangy graduate, was named second-team all-OAC in men's soccer. Doran, a defender, helped the team post four shutouts and outscore its opponents by an average of 1.42 goals per game, the second-best mark in the OAC. Doran also scored two goals.

The Greater Columbus Swim Team of Ohio is offering health and fitness programs. Classes include aerobics, spinning, water exercise, lap swimming, weight training, cardio training, yoga, swimming lessons and more. They are being offered out of the Concourse Spa and Fitness Club near the airport. There are family-oriented classes for those who wish to exercise with other family members (adults or youth). Morning, afternoon and evening classes are available. There is a teen swim fit program operating at the program's CCDE aquatic facility in Westerville as well as an adult masters swim team at that location. The next session of classes begins shortly.

Coach Jeff Riegler has partnered with the Buckeye Swim Club to bring a competitive program to area youth swimmers. This program will offer quality competitive swim instruction and the opportunity to compete in swim meets throughout Ohio. Interested swimmers should be able to swim the length of the pool. Olentangy Orange High School is sponsoring the Orange Crush Youth Wrestling team for athletes in grades K-6. The team will compete in the OURWAY/COBYWA league and practice Mondays and Wednesdays. The first practice is Dec. 1 and the season runs through February.
